Consultation

Your journey starts with a thorough consultation. The specialist reviews your hair loss history, examines the health of your scalp, the degree of hair loss, scalp suitability for Biofibre® implants. Understand any medical history/allergies/head injuries in the past.  You will get to know about your expectations from the process and desired results. 

During the Hair Transplant 

The practitioner cleanses and sanitises the scalp. To ensure that it’s a painless procedure, you will be given a local anaesthesia. the agreed-upon hairline and density are used by the practitioner to mark the implantation sites.

Every Biofibre® strand is placed into the scalp one-by-one. The fibres are secured at the root to keep them intact and stable. This process of placing the fibres is repeated until the desired density and areas are covered. It is minimally invasive and does not take too long,  usually needing two to four hours, depending on the number of implants.

Once the implant is finished, the patient is able to immediately resume there social life with the expected look.

In the immediate post-implantation period, treatment involves spraying the scalp with antibiotic solution for a few days according to the prescription of the practitioner performing the implantation. 

The patient is also required to carry out delicate manoeuvres during combing and washing so as not to superficialize the newly implanted hair, which will reach maximum fixation in 20-30 days.

Post Care and Recovery

You can experience mild redness and irritation but it usually goes away in just a few days. For a few weeks, patients should refrain from heavy heat, scratching.

To track outcomes and guarantee appropriate recovery, follow up appointment (one month) is required, these are not charged.

Over time 10% of the fibres shed annually so touch up is 

required on yearly bases. For the first year we provide 10% free re touch up.
